How ChinaValidate handles information
This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, how service providers help us operate, and how customers can contact us about privacy requests.
Last updated: June 9, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to ChinaValidate websites, accounts, company searches, paid reports, checkout flows, customer support, and related services. ChinaValidate provides business verification information for overseas buyers reviewing Chinese companies. It is not a consumer credit reporting service.
2. Information we collect
- Account information, such as name, email address, password credentials, and email verification status.
- Company check information, such as search terms, selected companies, report orders, saved checks, report downloads, and delivery status.
- Payment and order information, such as order number, product purchased, amount, currency, PayPal payment status, and refund status. PayPal processes payment credentials directly.
- Technical information, such as IP address, device/browser details, pages visited, referral information, and security logs.
- Support information, such as emails, messages, attachments, refund requests, and dispute-related communications.
3. How we use information
- To create and secure customer accounts.
- To search, match, translate, generate, retain, and deliver company verification results and PDF reports.
- To process PayPal checkout, verify payment status, prevent duplicate payments, handle refunds, and respond to disputes.
- To send account, verification, order, report delivery, and support messages.
- To detect misuse, protect the service, improve product quality, and maintain audit records.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment, and platform obligations.
4. Service providers
We use service providers to operate ChinaValidate. These may include cloud hosting, database, email delivery, authentication, analytics, payment, company registry data, translation, AI-assisted report generation, monitoring, and customer support providers.
PayPal handles checkout and payment processing. Google may handle OAuth sign-in if a customer chooses Google login. Email providers may send account verification, password, order, and report delivery messages.
5. Company registry and report data
Company verification reports may include public registry information, company names, registration numbers, legal representatives, registered addresses, business scope, status, and related business context. We translate and organize this information for business review. Some original Chinese fields may be retained when needed for identity comparison.
6. International processing
ChinaValidate serves international customers and may process information in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.
7. Data retention
We retain account, order, report, payment, delivery, and support records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain report history, resolve disputes, comply with accounting obligations, and protect against misuse. Customers may request deletion where legally permitted, but some transaction and audit records may need to be retained.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect accounts, payment records, report history, and system logs. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so customers should keep account credentials confidential and contact us if they suspect unauthorized access.
9. Your choices
- You may update account details from your account settings where available.
- You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information by contacting us.
- You may unsubscribe from non-essential messages where an unsubscribe option is provided.
- Operational messages about account security, payment, reports, and support may still be sent.
