The Unified Social Credit Code is an 18-character identifier used for Chinese market entities. It is one of the best fields for matching a company across registry and commercial data sources.
Why it matters
English names can vary across contracts, emails, invoices, and export documents. The credit code is usually more reliable than a translated company name.
How ChinaValidate uses it
When available, ChinaValidate uses the credit code as the primary lookup key and stores it in the report snapshot for future audit traceability.
